The question is, “When selling a home, can homeowners insurance be transferred to the new owner?” Great question. The answer is no. It can’t be. There are a number of factors that go into determining the rate that you pay for homeowner’s insurance. Age, marital status, driving record, your credit, all of those things are unique to each individual, so the new owner would need to receive a quote and apply on their own. Great question. Thank you.
