I love the great outdoors, when my husband and I have time, we take a drive to the mountains. Colorado is such a great place to live, there is so much one can do!
I am a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, a non-profit organization with the motto “People Helping People.” The charity I work with helps people with Von Hippel-Lindau (aka VHL).
This rare disease affects the main organs of the body and causes cancer in the kidneys. I have family members who have been affected, and being able to help raise awareness, means so much to me. If I am not putting on a dinner for my charity, I am helping others put on a dinner for theirs.
