So let’s take a look at the first question we received. Which homeowners insurance covers pit bulls? Well if you’re talking about a bite from your pit bull or a dangerous breed of dog, that would be covered through your family liability protection, that’s something that you would be liable for, you’re responsible for the animal. Allstate does not have a surcharge, we don’t charge additional premium for dangerous breeds of dogs, so that’s something to consider as well. If you do have a dangerous breed such as a German Shepherd, a pit bull, a chow etcetera, you may want to consider an umbrella policy, and we’d be happy to discuss that with you as well.
